These AI Terms of Use ("AI Terms") govern your access to and use of the AI-powered features ("AI Features") provided by Ozette Technologies, Inc. within our life sciences data analysis platform ("Platform"). By enabling or using the AI Features, you agree to be bound by these AI Terms, which supplement your existing agreements with us and our Privacy Policy. In the event of a conflict, these AI Terms shall control.

AI Features

The AI Features include an optional chatbot assistant designed to help you navigate the Platform and answer questions by retrieving relevant data. These features utilize large language models provided by third-party AI service providers ("Third-Party Providers"). A current list of these providers can be shared upon request.

Data Handling and Privacy

  • Data Processing: When you use the AI Features, your inputs ("Prompts") and the AI-generated outputs ("Responses") may be processed by Third-Party Providers to generate responses. These providers do not retain your data after processing.
  • Data Ownership: You retain all rights to your Prompts and Responses. We do not claim ownership over any data you provide or receive through the AI Features.
  • Confidentiality: We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. However, we recommend not sharing sensitive personal information through the AI Features.

Use Restrictions

By using the AI Features, you agree not to:

  • Use the AI Features in a manner that violates any applicable laws or regulations.
  • Input or share content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes on the rights of others.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer or extract the underlying models or algorithms of the AI Features.

Disclaimers

  • Accuracy: AI-generated responses are based on patterns in data and may not always be accurate or appropriate. You should not rely solely on these responses for critical decisions.
  • No Warranty: The AI Features are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

Beta Features

We may provide access to new features that are not generally available as part of a Beta release. Beta features may contain bugs, errors, or omissions and are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We may revoke access or discontinue Beta features at any time at our sole discretion.

Modifications

We may update these AI Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the Platform or other means. Continued use of the AI Features after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
