These AI Terms of Use ("AI Terms") govern your access to and use of the AI-powered features ("AI Features") provided by Ozette Technologies, Inc. within our life sciences data analysis platform ("Platform"). By enabling or using the AI Features, you agree to be bound by these AI Terms, which supplement your existing agreements with us and our Privacy Policy. If these AI Terms conflict with those agreements, these AI Terms control.

AI Features

The AI Features include (but are not limited to):

  • Conversational assistant: An optional chatbot that helps you navigate the Platform and answers questions by retrieving relevant data.
  • Hierarchy for immune subsets: Within Resolve, the control set’s protein marker names and the panel’s material names are sent to large language models to generate a hierarchy of immune subsets for filtering.

These features use large language models provided by third-party AI service providers ("Third-Party Providers"). A current list of these providers is available on request.

Data Handling and Privacy

  • Data Processing: When you use the AI Features, your inputs ("Prompts") and the AI-generated outputs ("Responses") may be processed by Third-Party Providers to generate responses. These providers do not retain your data after processing.
  • Data Ownership: You retain all rights to your Prompts and Responses. We do not claim ownership over any data you provide or receive through the AI Features.
  • Confidentiality: We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. However, we recommend not sharing sensitive personal information through the AI Features.

Use Restrictions

By using the AI Features, you agree not to:

  • Use the AI Features in a manner that violates any applicable laws or regulations.
  • Input or share content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes on the rights of others.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer or extract the underlying models or algorithms of the AI Features.

Disclaimers

  • Accuracy: AI-generated Outputs are based on patterns in data and may not always be accurate or appropriate. You should not rely solely on these Outputs for critical decisions.
  • Generated Hierarchy: You are responsible for reviewing any AI-generated hierarchy, and the Endpoints results produced from it, before relying on or reporting those results. Results generated are for research use only and are not intended for diagnostic use.
  • No Warranty: The AI Features are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

Beta Features

We may provide access to new features that are not generally available as part of a Beta release, which may include AI-assisted spec generation. Beta features may contain bugs, errors, or omissions and are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We may revoke access to or discontinue Beta features at any time at our sole discretion.

Modifications

We may update these AI Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the Platform or by other means. Continued use of the AI Features after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
